Founder/CEO
Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Boulder
Bio: Maddie Freeman is the Founder and CEO of NoSo November, a digital wellness nonprofit. Maddie was recently listed on the 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 List in the Education category at age 23 after graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship from the Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder. Maddie is recognized as a Young Futures Innovator, Social Dilemma/LookUp Innovator grant winner, a Young Innovator in Behavioral Health awardee, and a McGill University Youth Fellow.

Andre Policzer-- he/him/his
Director of Operations/Psychology Lead
Social psychology & PolSci degree from The University of British Columbia
Bio: Andre is a social psychology/ political science grad, and seasoned outdoor trip leader, who’s been committed to youth flourishing between the worlds of academic research and direct experience. Growing up in the Canadian Rockies, for Andre the outdoors has always played a vital role in mental & physical well-being. His research interests focus on the effects of social media platforms on youth development, and the possibilities for nature & play-based interventions. His previous work experience is incredibly diverse, ranging from working as a vegan sous chef and rock climbing instructor to managing a Vancouver-based skateboard and scooter camp.

Bio: Mission-driven program director, educator, and trainer specializing in leadership, equity, and community empowerment. Experienced in curriculum design, facilitation, and large-scale program management, leading initiatives that engage youth, educators, and community stakeholders. Nearly a decade of nonprofit experience driving systemic change through innovation, cross-sector collaboration, and data-driven impact strategies.

Bio: I am a visionary leader and strategic marketer with more than 15 years of experience, I have excelled in roles demanding innovation, fundraising, and content creation. As the Director of Marketing and Development for a nonprofit, I successfully led campaigns that raised significant funds, directly contributing to our mission’s advancement. My expertise extends to crafting compelling narratives, demonstrated through engaging blogs and social media content that resonate with diverse audiences. Known for my analytical approach and creative problem-solving, I am committed to driving growth, improving processes, and leading teams to exceed expectations at the highest level.

Luke is an incredibly talented leader and holds expertise in finance, guiding mindfulness activities, and creative ideation. He engages in many activities outside of his time at NoSo- Notably he is an athlete competing in numerous national climbing competitions and soccer tournaments.
He is thoughtful, creative, and prioritizes helping our team improve our own overall wellbeing and mental health before we help the communities we serve.

Ben Forman - he/him/his
Public Speaking and Content Creation Internship
Integrated Design and Mechanical Engineering at University Colorado, Boulder
Bio: Ben Forman is an honors engineering student at the University of Colorado and a passionate advocate for digital wellness. After growing up deeply affected by social media—experiencing anxiety, insecurity, and constant comparison—Ben began to reimagine his life online during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ben has led a number of school-based mental health initiatives that center on digital detoxing, mindfulness, vulnerability exploration, and gratitude journaling to support his peers. He has spoken in front of hundreds of students on the topic of social media, and most and was awarded the LookUp Youth Innovator Challenge for this very project. Through his role as producer of Disconnected, Ben aims to bring this message of intentionality, awareness, and youth empowerment to schools across the country.

Bio: Eera is currently pursuing a degree in psychology, with minors in business and creative technology & design at the University of Colorado Boulder. With a strong interdisciplinary focus, she is passionate about exploring the intersection of human behavior, technology, and innovative design, hoping to apply her knowledge in behavioral design post graduation. Throughout her academic and professional journey, Eera has gained a unique perspective to how technology can be leveraged to improve mental health and foster meaningful connections.
She is eager to contribute her background in psychology and design to help the NoSo team further develop programs to promote a healthy relationship with social media.

Saul Drantch- he/him/his
21 years old, Boulder, CO
Student - CompSci at CU Boulder
Bio: Saul Drantch is a junior studying computer science at the University of Colorado Boulder and a passionate advocate for digital wellness. After years of grappling with social media and dopamine-driven distractions, Saul began a journey of digital detox and intentional living. His commitment to stepping away from social media and other addictive platforms has significantly improved his mental health, deepened his focus, and strengthened his relationships. Now, Saul is channeling that experience into meaningful work, blending technology, psychology, and storytelling to help others reclaim their attention and well-being. He’s currently building a screen time app designed to help people break free from compulsive digital habits and build healthier relationships with their devices. As part of the NoSo public speaking team, Saul is excited to share his story and empower students to reconnect with their lives offline.

Bio: I’m an incoming freshman at Boston University, the founder of a digital literacy nonprofit called Frontlines, and a passionate advocate for youth civic engagement and ethical tech. I’ve spoken at TEDx and the UN Youth Forum and love using public speaking to drive change.

Sean Schrader-- he/him/his

Graduated Student: University of South Florida with MBA
Bio: Sean Schrader is a recent graduate of the University of South Florida with his MBA, and has been fortunate to hold many unique roles such as USA Youth Ambassador at the 2025 Osaka World Expo, President of the National Association of Graduate and Professional Students, and District Office Manager for now-former US Congressman Charlie Crist. Sean believes strongly in the idea of localized action to create significant change, and focuses on supporting future changemakers. Sean aspires to go to law school before pursuing a career as a JAG officer in the military.
